Discussion Groups

The WFTC discussion groups are friendly email based chat groups, for the discussion of fair trade realated topics. We have divided the chat groups into 3 categories so that you to join the group(s) most relevant to your area of interest. Further information on each group is shown at the end of this page and you can join as many or as few as you like.

Once you have joined a group you will be sent further information about the group and instructions on how to join in the discussions. You can leave a group at any time to stop receiveing messages from it.

Open Chat
This is an open group, free for all to join and for the discussion of any fair trade related subjects.

Youth Chat Group
This is a moderated group aimed at under 18s and is intended for discussion of fair trade topics particularly relevant to young people. This could include incoporating trade issues in school projects or coursework, sourcing fair trade products for tuck shops and fair trade related youth events. There may be a delay distributing messages sent to this group while they pend moderator approval.

Churches Chat Group
This group is intended for discussion of fair trade subject particularly relevant to churches. This could include working towards Fairtrade cetrification, holding Fairtrade stalls, and fair trade related readings etc.
