Joining the WFTC

If you are concerned about fair trade issues, and would like to help us raise awareness and promote fair trade in the Wokingham borough, then please consider joining as a member of the campaign.

To join, all you need to do is send an email to the email address below giving us your name, address and any other contact details you are happy for us have.

membership@wokingham-fairtrade.org.uk

The WFTC is a campaigning organisation, and as a member we may contact you from time to time to see if you are able to give any time to volunteering at any of our events. If you wish to support the camapign as a member, but are not able to help in this capacity, please just let us know when registering and we will ensure we do not contact you.

Members of the Wokingham Fair Trade Campaign receive:

  • Quarterly newsletters
  • Invitations to WFTC campaigning and social events
  • Instant notification whenever a new edition of the directory is published or tickets for any event go on sale
  • The opportunity to meet other people interested in fair trade and wider ethical consumer issues
  • A point of contact for any questions they may have about fair trade issues, or concerns they would like the campaign to investigate
  • The knowledge that they have provided extra support to the fair trade movement and are helping to encourage fairer trading across the borough!

    The Fairtrade Foundation issue and regulate the use of the FAIRTRADE mark in the UK



    I-FAT

    The International Association of Alternative Trade issue and monitor the Fair Trade Organisations (FTO) mark



    BAFTS

    The British Association of Fair Trade Shops issue and monitor the BAFTS Mark
